Forensic and anatomic signification of phenotype transformations inside fetus membranes. Part Two: Trophoblastic membrane

G.S. Dragoi, I. Dinca, P.R. Melinte, G.A. Silca, L. Radu, C. Diaconu

Abstract: The authors make a micro anatomic analysis of the phenotype changes inside trophoblast membrane, in the context of the modelling and remodelling processes undergone by the placenta villosities during gestation or during trophoblast lesions. They considered that placenta reflects the events happened during the intrauterine life of foetus and it represents a real black box of the foetus placenta system. Decoding the data written on the trophoblast membrane can help for elucidating the forensic expertise of gestation and abortion.
Keywords: placenta, trophoblast, trophoblast cell Langhans, substantia fibrinoidea, placenta villosity, trophoblast membrane
